This salt is inspired by the Vikings. We use garlic and red cayenne peppers grown and smoked on our farm, all enhanced with gray sea salt also smoked with maple wood.

Smoked salt can surprise with its powerful aromas typical of Nordic gastronomy; the smoked flavors come from an ancestral technique which consists in preserving meat and fish thanks to the smoking with wood. This process results in a unique, particularly strong and intoxicating taste. These are referred to as grill, barbecue, wood and salt flavours. Smoked foods and condiments go very well with pieces of chicken, beef, pork, game, for cooking vegetables or meat. Goes well with pizza and in tomato sauces. Delicious on popcorn!

Taste: Spicy with chilli, pungent with garlic and smoky, full-bodied, our Viking salt is reminiscent of cooking over a good old-fashioned fire.
