Wild edible and medicinal summer plants - Workshop (English)

Discover the many wild plants that grow abundantly in our surroundings, sometimes in city flowerbeds as well as in the beautiful meadows found throughout Quebec. Experience foraging with us during this botanical outing at our farm, where you'll discover the region's wild plants. (For cultivated plants, see the Immersive Workshop in Our Gardens.) Learn to identify plants, the parts to harvest, and their edible and medicinal uses. Acquire the skills to easily pick, prepare, and enjoy wild plants, and develop the confidence to do it yourself..

 PROGRAM :

↠ A more theoretical first part under our teepee in the forest: an introduction to the principles of responsible foraging and precautions to take before eating in the wild, including an overview of toxic plants to avoid. I'll also present several books and publications in French and English for identification and a more in-depth understanding of plants.
